Industries We Serve
Through tightly controlled deliverables of assessment, consulting, solutions, and managed services geared towards an Internet Delivered World, Sactech has helped build, automate, and harden the network boundary, core, and DMZ of traditional enterprise industries headquartered on the West Coast in support of their hybrid-cloud architectures and a next generation Internet.
The Sutter Health data center and their independent physician offices were struggling to maintain access to Sutter’s HIPAA compliant applications and resources. Sactech was hired to conduct an assessment of the architecture and troubleshoot these connections and discovered that through numerous changes to the remote practice network on both wired and wireless mediums would improve the reliability. This small engagement spurred a vast number of new installations and ongoing support of Sutter Doctors. Sutter IT now considers Sactech to be a trusted advisor for their private, cloud-hosted EMR application.
St Helena school district’s aged network was unable to reliably support Common Core assessments and the thousands of laptops, netbooks, tablets, and desktops used for digital learning. Sactech was able to solve this need through the integration of partner solutions from Fortinet, Aruba Networks and Sophos. The district initially other vendors but ended both relationships and discovered Sactech. “Neither was a good fit for us. We chose Sactech because of its Juniper expertise and willingness to work with us on a short timeframe,” says Josh Brock-Walder, IT systems analyst at St. Helena Unified School District. The network was rebuilt resulting in a network throughput increase by a factor of two. Classrooms experienced excellent performance for web-based apps and online assessments all while benefiting from the latest in 1-on-1 digital flip learning. [Read Case Study]

An essential California State agency was charged with improving interoperability of their analog systems for first responders. Sactech architected and implemented a highly secure private MPLS backbone that transitioned them from aging analog radio systems to a new digital radio system. To help save lives, the solution would require IP connectivity at all radio tower sites for first responders across the entire State of California as well as multiple redundancies to ensure that communications would stay up in the event of an outage. The new system is built on Juniper Networks SRX routers and EX switches driven by JunOS. We are small business certified in the State of California and hold multiple leveraged procurement vehicles for your purchasing convenience.
A large multi-billion dollar grocery chain with pharmacy services was struggling with technology outages and was having challenges connecting third party vendors and cloud solutions into their aged network. Like many companies, this company had spent the last twenty years tilting up applications in house and then building networks around those applications. Sactech was chosen to manage a multi-year project that helped them build, automate, and secure a single network upon which all applications could reside. With wholesale, retail, distribution, and transportation operations closely involved, Sactech migrated their network, eliminated unplanned outages, and consulted in identificatio of new leadership and engineering resources to help them prepare for the future.
In order to accommodate increased demand for their services and upcoming product releases, Polycom, Inc. needed a complete network overhaul that could be rapidly deployed. Sactech designed a solution that provided users with easy, secure network access, regardless of access method or device based on Juniper Networks' "Simply Connected" product portfolio. The simplicity of the Juniper approach combined with Sactech's careful planning, deployment, and rapid responsiveness has given Polycom a much more powerful network that is easy to configure and manage, and has substantially reduced Polycom's IT workload.
